98 Coffee Menu

I built this for a coffee shop in Phnom Penh that needed a way to display their menu digitally and update it without calling me every time prices changed.

The menu is bilingual — Khmer and English — because their customers include both locals and tourists. Staff can log in through an admin panel, edit items, add new categories, and toggle availability in real time. No code knowledge required.

The Firebase Realtime Database means updates appear on the menu instantly. I designed the customer-facing menu to be fast and readable on a phone screen — most people order by looking at their phone rather than a printed menu.

This was my first project for a real paying client. I learned more about user requirements in this one project than in everything I'd built before it.
